The mountain tourism section KRSU brings together students who are passionate about active recreation, travel and studying the natural heritage of Kyrgyzstan. Section participants take part in hikes of various difficulty categories, get acquainted with mountain routes and acquire practical skills in staying in the natural environment.
Training includes studying the basics of tourist technology, terrain orientation, organizing hikes, working with tourist equipment and following safety rules in mountainous areas. Particular attention is paid to physical fitness, endurance development and the ability to act in a team.
Practical trips allow participants to apply the acquired knowledge along the routes, improve tourism skills and get acquainted with the unique natural landscapes of Kyrgyzstan. Hiking promotes responsibility, independence, organization and the ability to make decisions in non-standard conditions.
KRSU Mountain Tourism Section provides students with the opportunity to lead an active lifestyle, broaden their horizons, acquire useful practical skills and become part of the university tourism community.
