Chess
The national chess team KRSU brings together students who are passionate about intellectual sports and strive to develop strategic thinking, logic and analytical abilities. The team takes an active part in the sports life of the university and represents KRSU at chess tournaments and competitions at various levels.
The training process includes studying opening theory, analyzing classical and modern games, solving chess problems and improving positional and tactical play skills. Particular attention is paid to developing the ability to evaluate game positions, plan actions several moves ahead and make informed decisions in limited time.
Under the guidance of Zhanybekov's coach Kairat Zhanybekovich, athletes improve their chess skills, develop concentration, perseverance and analytical thinking skills. Regular classes allow participants to deepen their understanding of the game, gain competitive experience and improve their level of training.
The KRSU national chess team provides students with the opportunity to develop intellectual abilities, improve strategic thinking and adequately represent the university at chess competitions at various levels.
