Freestyle wrestling

The national freestyle wrestling team KRSU brings together students striving to improve their sportsmanship in one of the most dynamic and spectacular types of martial arts. The team actively participates in the sports life of the university and represents KRSU at competitions at various levels.

During training, athletes learn and improve techniques for transfers, throws, leg grabs, holds and counter-tricks, and develop tactical wrestling skills. Particular attention is paid to physical fitness, strength development, endurance, coordination of movements and speed of reaction.

The national freestyle wrestling team KRSU provides students with the opportunity to reveal their sporting potential, improve their level of training and adequately represent the university in competitions, preserving and developing the traditions of student sports.
