Features of admission to doctoral studies
1. Information to applicants
Training in the basic PhD/KSRU profile is carried out full-time (with elements of distance learning – distance educational technologies), on a contract basis.
2. The required documents for admission to basic PhD/KSRU profile are:
- application addressed to the head of the educational organization (for admission to the entrance examination);
- a notarized copy of the higher education diploma (specialty or bachelor's + master's degree);
- certificate from the authorized state body in the field of education and science of the Kyrgyz Republic confirming the level and content of educational documents issued by foreign educational institutions;
- a copy of the passport.
A passport or military ID (for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic) is presented in person upon submission of the application.
3. Deadlines for accepting documents and conducting entrance examinations:
Admission to the basic doctoral program PhD/no profile of KRSU is carried out annually from June 20 to October 10.
Entrance tests in the chosen educational direction (special subject) and English are held on October 13-27.
The competition for admission to the basic PhD/KSRU profile is held on the basis of the results of entrance tests in the chosen educational direction (special subject) and the English language.
4. Tuition fees
The cost of paid educational services in basic doctoral studies PhD/by profile for the 2025-2026 academic year in all areas is 140 thousand soms
According to clause 2 of Order 349-P dated August 6, 2025 "On the cost of paid educational services for the 2025-2026 academic year for 2-6 courses," a 50% discount in fees for all types of education is established for KRSU employees studying at the university.
5. Special conditions for those who have passed the candidate minimums
In case of completing postgraduate studies and passing candidate minimums (results certified by the administration), transfer to the second year of PhD studies is possible
Procedure: after issuing an order for enrollment in the first year of PhD/profile, the applicant, within 10 days, submits an application addressed to the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation for transfer to the second year of study with confirmation of passing candidate minimums.
