March 2 — Mentor's Day in Russia

Since 2026, March 2 is celebrated annually in Russia as Mentor Day. The holiday was established in order to popularize and develop mentoring, as well as increase the role and prestige of a mentor in society.The date was not chosen by chance — it is dedicated to the birthday of the founder of scientific pedagogy in Russia, Konstantin Ushinsky.Mentoring — is a special mission. This is not only the transfer of knowledge and professional experience, but also support, personal example, the formation of values and life guidelines.The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University congratulates all mentors — teachers, scientific supervisors, curators and those who help young people take their first confident steps in their profession and life.Thank you for your work, wisdom and responsibility.
