75th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
A heroic-patriotic event «Unity that defeated fascism!» dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 started at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The initiative of the University was supported by the Council of War Veterans, Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies and Home Front Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic. Search engines from Novosibirsk joined the action and will share information about the feat of the Kyrgyzstanis – defenders of the Brest Fortress.
The battle with the brown plague of fascism demonstrated the phenomenon of the multinational Soviet people, which consisted of their unity and cohesion, courage and heroism. It was he who ensured the fulfillment of the grandiose task of transferring the economy to a war footing, forming a united front in the fight against the enemy and achieving victory over him. By their example, the generation of winners gave an important lesson to their descendants – to overcome difficulties, to create in the name of prosperity and conflict-free development of society, only in a single impulse.
Participants of the action – teaching staff, students, schoolchildren will undertake to recreate the portrait of the hero people. They will have to remember the heroic past of their family, their loved ones, talk about it, express their opinion about the problem of war and peace, the role of unity in its resolution.
Memories and essays will be included in a multi-volume publication, which will be published under the title «Unity that defeated fascism!». University scientists will conduct a study of a little-known page of Russian history – the feat of the Soviet people in the first days of the Great Patriotic War.
On June 22, 2016, the action will end with a ritual of remembrance of everyone who entered into battle with fascism 75 years ago and won in 1945 – adults and children, military and civilian, Kyrgyz and Russians, Kazakhs and Belarusians, Uzbeks and Ukrainians, Jews and Tajiks, Turkmen and Azerbaijanis, Latvians and Tatars, Georgians and Chechens, all sons and daughters of the huge Soviet country.
Anyone who considers the feat of the generation of winners sacred, and who considers the covenants to preserve unity and friendship unshakable, will be able to join the action!
