Artem Novikov — Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KRSU

The Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University is Artem Novikov — Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKFR). His participation in the work of the council is an important step towards strengthening the strategic partnership between the education system and the leading economic institutions of Kyrgyzstan.

Artem Novikov was born in Frunze (now Bishkek), graduated from the Baltic State Technical University with a degree in economics and manager«. He began his career in the private sector, then moved to the civil service, holding key positions in the Ministry of Economy, the government apparatus and the Presidential Administration. He was an adviser to prime ministers, first deputy prime minister and served as acting head of government. Since 2021, he has been in charge of the RKFR.

The appointment of Artem Novikov is symbolic: the RKFR is one of the key engines of the country’s economic growth. In 2024, the fund invested more than $100 million in the Kyrgyz economy, and in 2025 it allocated another $225 million.

The participation of the foundation in the development of education and scientific base, including the modernization of KRSU, opens up new horizons for the training of qualified specialists capable of contributing to the sustainable development of Kyrgyzstan.
