Battle of Minds: Logic Olympiad held at Faculty of Humanities

On April 14, the 7th interfaculty student Olympiad in logic was held at the Faculty of Humanities KRSU, which was traditionally held by the Department of Philosophy.

16 students from the faculties of law and humanities took part in the Olympiad, who passed the qualifying round and reached the final stage.

Students' interest in logic is dictated not only by the fact that this science is an important component of university education, but also by the fact that knowledge of the basic laws of logic, the ability to solve logical problems and think correctly is applicable in practice, especially in the professional activities of a philosopher and lawyer. These circumstances determined the interest of the students and the high competitive spirit present at the Olympiad.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were 1st year students of the Faculty of Humanities Vladislav Barkov (1st place), as well as 3rd year students of the Faculty of Law Nikita Savelyev and Erzhan Malikov, who took 2nd and 3rd places, respectively. All winners were awarded commemorative diplomas.
