Bronze «Samarkand» Olympiad in Medicine in the KRSU collection!

On December 14-15, Samarkand State Medical Institute held II International Olympiad in Medicine «Samarkand-2020».

The purpose of the event is – to popularize knowledge in the field of various study programs both clinical medicine and fundamental sciences.

More than two thousand students from countries far and near abroad (Russia, Turkey, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries) took part in the Olympiad.

The subject part included the following stages: testing (a participant who scored 55 points or more advanced to the 2nd round) and an oral survey (discipline question, solving situational problems, assessing practical skills).

From the Faculty of Medicine KRSU, 6th year student Yulia Rulevskaya (group PD-8-16), representing the circle of the Department of Pediatric Surgery under the guidance of Associate Professor K. Mykyev and teacher T. Nurmukhamedov, took part in this competition. As a result, our colleague took an honorable 3rd place among 30 participants in the Olympiad in this discipline.
