The women's basketball team of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University won a bronze medal at the Universiade! In a thrilling third-place contest, they displayed outstanding athletic skills and fighting spirit.

The team included such talented players as Alina Kaldibaeva, Kamila Temirova, Kristina Fedotova, Meerim Zhenishbek kyzy, Adelina Mamatova, Samira Abdullaeva, Sabina Myrzakozhoeva, Diana Tyo, Aizirek Akmatova, Sezim Kudayarova, Elizaveta Letskaya and Milena Grobova.
