We will cooperate with Moscow State University named after P. Semenov-Tyan-Shansky

On May 20, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin signed a Cooperation Agreement and an additional agreement with the International State University named after P. Semenov-Tyan-Shansky (St. Petersburg) concerning issues of additional professional education.

The documents important for the two universities were signed by their leaders – Rector of KRSU Vladimir Nifadiev and Rector of Moscow State University named after P.P. Semenov-Tyan-Shansky Marina Pimenova.

The signatories expressed their readiness to carry out mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education, culture and science. When organizing interaction, universities will exchange research papers, educational materials, literature, as well as experience in teaching and training highly qualified specialists. The intention was expressed to jointly participate in the activities of the dissertation council for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations on the basis of KRSU in such areas as «Russian language. Languages of the peoples of Russia» and «Theoretical, applied and comparative linguistics».
