«Digital humanities in the global world»: strengthening scientific ties between KRSU and leading universities in neighboring countries
IN THE Belarusian-Russian University 26-On June 27, 2025, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference «Digital Humanities in the Global World» took place dedicated 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The organizers were the Belarusian-Russian University (BRU), Russian peoples' Friendship University named after. Patrice Lumumba (RUDN).
The event brought together experienced and young scientists, teachers, specialists, graduate students in the field of digital humanities, IT technologies, linguistics and literary studies, history, political science and other social sciences and humanities from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Belarusand.
KRSU was presented at the conference M. J. Tagaev, d-r filol. nauk, professor, director of the Russian Language Institute; A. E. Gatina, head. department of Russian Philology, Ph.D. philol. Sci, associate professor; A. E. Ernisova, deputy. director of the Institute of Russian Language, Kandes. filol nauk, and M. B. Kameneva, kandes. filol. nauk, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology.
M. J. Tagaev made a report in the first section «Russian language in the digital space and media of Kyrgyzstan», A. E. Gatine in the second section presented theu <TAG1> Genres of scientific Internet communication«, A. E. Ernisova in the third section – <TAG1> Application of digital technologies in Russian language lessons as a non-native language (based on a textbook for students 5-go russian language class with Kyrgyz language of instruction)» and M. B. Kameneva presented in the sixth section, a report «National-cultural originality of relational units in the aspect of teaching RCT». Also in format online presentations were made by A. S. Moldomambetova, researcher at the Institute of Russian Language of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, and G. A. Tokombaeva, senior Lecturer at the Department of Russian Philology, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
During the conference, participants discussed current issues of application and interpretation of new digital and information and communication technologies, the use of digital resources in humanitarian and sociocultural research and education.
The first day of the conference ended with a strategic session of the Russian-national Slavic universities. The organizer was the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia them. Patrice Lumumba. Work of the session it was headed by Oksana Ivanovna Alexandrova, Deputy Dean for Scientific Work of the Faculty of Philology of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. P. Lumumba. Participants discussed implementede activities to promote the Russian language and strengthen its position in Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
