The digital future: how new technologies are changing art and design
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University has become a platform for a key event in the world of art and digital technologies – international scientific and practical conference «Digital Future: challenges and opportunities for designers and artists».
The conference brought together leading experts from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, including – members of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Union of Designers of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Council of Craftsmen of Kyrgyzstan, as well as teachers from the country's leading creative universities. The event was organized by the Department of Artistic Design of Products of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction KRSU. The event was co-organized by the Representative Office of the IPCHAIN Association in the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Business Council.
One of the main events of the conference was the presentation of the first specialized Internet platform ARTISTS in Russia. Designed for illustrators, graphic designers, artists and other creative professions, this innovative project offered unique opportunities:
• Protecting authors’ intellectual property;
• Popularization and monetization of artistic works;
• Attracting investment for creative projects;
• Creation of a single digital space for communication and collaboration.
Within the framework of ARTISTS, a mechanism was formed to identify and support talented artists, designers and illustrators not only from Russia, but also from the EAEU countries. The platform broke new ground for the promotion of national art on the international stage.
