A meeting of the delegation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. took place at Osh State University. Yeltsin with the leadership of the university.
The delegation of KRSU included: Vice-Rector for Pre-University and Additional Education of KRSU Elena Averkova, Vice-Rector for Youth and Information Policy Stanislav Kulikov, First Vice-Rector of KRSU Gulnara - Klara Samat, Director of the Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage Leonid Sumarokov.
From the Kyrgyz side, the meeting was attended by the rector of Osh State University and the vice-rector for scientific work. The parties discussed issues of strategic interaction in the field of education, scientific research, youth policy, as well as the joint organization of cultural and sporting events.
As part of the visit, the KRSU delegation visited the Osh State University clinical base. The guests inspected the surgical department, got acquainted with the work of graduate students and teachers, and assessed the equipment used in the educational process. It was noted that every year about 11,000 students undergo preventive medical examinations at the clinic, and more than 15,000 city residents receive medical services here.
Lecture halls, sports grounds and health facilities of the university were also inspected. The prospects for holding joint cultural events were discussed, including the participation of OshSU representatives in the Kyrgyz-Russian Media Forum, which will take place on August 14–17.
In the scientific block, the KRSU delegation got acquainted with the laboratories where undergraduate and graduate students of Osh State University are trained in instrument making, robotics and other technical specialties.
The visit ended with a discussion of long-term projects aimed at developing educational and cultural exchange between the two universities.
