The KRSU delegation takes part in the International Forum of Slavic Universities in Stavropol.
The delegation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University takes part in the International Forum of Slavic Universities, which opened in Stavropol at the North Caucasus Federal University. KRSU is represented at the forum by a delegation led by Vice-Rector for Youth and Information Policy Stanislav Kulikov. It also included university staff and students.
More than 70 representatives of universities in Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan took part in the forum. The event is dedicated to the development of interuniversity cooperation, youth policy, academic exchanges and strengthening humanitarian ties in the Eurasian space.
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova congratulated the participants on the opening of the forum in an online format. Welcoming addresses were also made by representatives of the plenipotentiary representative office of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District, Rossotrudnichestvo and the government of the Stavropol Territory.
Rector of the North Caucasus Federal University Tatyana Shebzukhova emphasized that the forum will become a platform for developing new forms of interaction between universities.
<TAG1>On the sidelines of the forum, leaders of international and youth blocs, young scientists, and student leaders will create new horizons of cooperation and strengthen the dialogue between active youth of the Eurasian space«, she noted.
The forum program includes educational seminars, expert discussions, meetings with public figures and journalists. One of the key events will be an open dialogue with the Chairman of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy Fyodor Lukyanov. In addition, participants will meet with Advisor to the Head of the Federal Agency for National Affairs Haykaz Mikaelyan in the format «conversation without ties». A cultural and educational program has also been prepared for delegates with visits to historical places in the North Caucasus.
