The KRSU delegation takes part in SPIEF 2026

A delegation of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University led by Rector Sergei Volkov takes part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum – 2026. University representatives visited a number of expert and discussion platforms dedicated to the development of education, science and technology.On the sidelines of the forum, the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov held a number of working meetings.During the panel session of ANO «Eurasia» «Synergy of business and government bodies as an effective mechanism for humanitarian policy in the field of international relations», Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov thanked Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev for supporting the project of a new university campus and assistance in resolving the issue of land transfer plot. It is expected that the land plot will be officially transferred to the university in the near future, which will allow the next stage of a large-scale infrastructure project to begin.A meeting was also held with the Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Sergei Pospelov, during which current issues of humanitarian cooperation were touched upon.At a meeting with the rector of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (national research university) Dmitry Livanov, they discussed the development of scientific and educational tourism.During a conversation with the rector of the St. Petersburg Mining University Vladimir Litvinenko, issues of implementing the joint educational program KRSU in the field «Mining», which provides for the training of specialists in open-pit and underground mining, were raised.A separate meeting took place with the rector of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Andrei Rudsky. University leaders discussed the implementation of a joint roadmap, projects to educate students and schoolchildren, as well as the further development of cooperation in the field of engineering education.
