Business game within the Congress
As part of the congress, on September 12, 2024, a visiting meeting of the Youth Section of the Scientific Council «Socio-political and demographic problems of the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)» was held at the Department of Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Several reports were heard presenting the results of research by young scientists from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
A sociodrama «The Path of a Labor Migrant» with elements of a business game was carried out. The purpose of the event was to play out and subsequently analyze the practical situation in which a person finds himself who goes abroad to work. Participants played the roles of a migrant, his wife and children, a border guard, a doctor, a policeman, a representative of the diaspora, and local residents of the host country. The game was led by the chief researcher of the Institute of Demographic Research of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, chairman of the Youth Section of the Scientific Council «Socio-political and demographic problems of the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)» at the Department of Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Volkova Olga Alexandrovna, junior researcher at the Department for Research of Socio-Demographic Processes in the EAEU, Institute of Demographic Research, Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Roslavtseva Maria Vasilievna, junior researcher at the Department for Research of Socio-Demographic Processes in the EAEU, Institute of Demographic Research, Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Novikova Victoria Sergeevna.Each participant in the sociodrama expressed his personal impression of his participation in the event. In the format of a business game, practical proposals have been developed aimed at improving the social atmosphere in which a typical modern migrant worker finds himself abroad. All participants of the event were awarded certificates from the Institute of Demographic Research of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as audience awards.
