Denis Fomin-Nilov: KRSU is choosing a new vector of development

The main thing from the report of acting by Rector D. Fomin-Nilov at the plenary discussion «Slavic University 2050: prospects and priorities»:

«On these significant days of anniversary celebrations, thanks to colorful exhibitions and bright presentations, we got acquainted with the wonderful history of the formation and development of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The first 30 years of its existence were productive, but we need to look to the future in order to develop and grow, to move forward.

We gathered at a panel discussion to jointly formulate ideas, make forecasts and make proposals for the development of the university for the next 30 years.

There are four Slavic universities in total, but our KRSU – was created first, proving the success of a unique management model, when two states participate in the creation, financing and setting of tasks.

Modern university – is not just about sitting at desks and gaining knowledge, it is both science and the creation of new ideas and technologies, and accordingly, industrial partnerships are needed here. The university, as an intellectual corporation, must offer businesses solutions to complex problems. That is why successful entrepreneurs and businessmen are taking part in the discussion today».
