A deputy of the State Duma of Russia visited KRSU and spoke in favor of its development

On August 7, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was visited by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, member of the board of trustees of KRSU, Anatoly Ivanovich Lisitsyn. During his meeting with the university management, an exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues related to the organization of educational and scientific activities in KRSU. Acting rector, German Lotsev, told the guest about the progress of preparations for the 30th anniversary of the university and problematic issues of its functioning.

Anatoly Lisitsyn, in turn, expressed his position on the prospects for development and the role of Slavic universities in expanding cooperation between the CIS states and the Russian Federation. He reported on the measures he, as a deputy of the State Duma of Russia, is taking to improve the efficiency of the teaching staff of Russian-national universities.

«The State Duma of Russia attaches great importance to the activities of Slavic universities in developing cooperation with the countries of the Commonwealth», – said Anatoly Lisitsyn.

The meeting took place in a friendly, constructive atmosphere. During its holding, an initiative was introduced to hold in the State Duma, on the eve of the 30th anniversary of KRSU, a presentation of books published by the KRSU publishing house and dedicated to the history of joint creative activities of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
