Welcome to the Faculty of International Relations of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University
The Faculty of International Relations KRSU is aimed at training highly qualified personnel in the field of international relations, foreign policy and foreign economic activity of the Kyrgyz Republic. Here, for the first time in Kyrgyzstan, training of specialists in the fields of international journalism, as well as world cultures and religions, began.
The faculty offers the following programs:
- Political Science (4 years)
- International relations (4 years)
- Journalism (4 years)
- Translation and Translation Studies (Chinese, 5 years)
A high level of student training is provided by a teaching staff including 8 doctors and 18 candidates of science. Leading specialists in the field of international relations, representatives of embassies and international organizations in the Kyrgyz Republic, and professors from foreign universities are also involved in the training.
The Faculty has established and is actively functioning international centres:
- Center for American Studies
- Center for Sinology - Center for Turkology
- Center for Iranian Studies
- Center for Korean Language Studies
- Centre for Informatics and Language Training
These centers provide international cooperation, establish connections with organizations, provide students and teachers with information on the relevant regions, and contribute to international studies of the political and economic situation in states.
