Associate Professor KRSU Aigul Aitimbetova completed an internship in Japan

Head of the Department of Physics and Microelectronics KRSU Aigul Aitimbetova passed a competitive selection and took part in a three-week internship at Mie University (Japan) as part of the Japanese Government program «Development of high-level human resources in industry through Japanese-style engineering education».

Based on the results of a competition held by the Japanese Embassy among four Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, 10 participants were selected.

The purpose of the program is to study Japan's experience in practical engineering education, teaching methods, curriculum and cooperation between industry, academia and government.

Future plans include continuing cooperation with JICA, namely participation in the 2023 Mini-Grant Competitions and Programmes Follow-up, aimed at the practical implementation of the experience gained at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology. It is also planned to create student design and research groups in electronics and robotics at ETF KRSU to promote engineering specialties among schoolchildren and modernize the laboratory base of departments.
