Spiritual and moral values of the Russian world

Sciences Aigerim Ernisovna Ernisova were invited to the XVI Assembly of the Russian World «Spiritual and moral values of the Russian world», organized by the «Russian World» Foundation. This year the event is attended by representatives from more than 80 countries (India, Colombia, Spain, Italy, France, USA, etc.). For the first time, guests arrived from Madagascar and Laos. On the eve of the celebration of National Unity Day, the Assembly gathered all like-minded people of the Russian world. At the grand opening, welcoming words were heard from President V.V. Putin. The text of the greeting was read by Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation E.A. Yampolskaya: «On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, holding the Assembly takes on an important meaning», – noted the head of the Russian government. Text of greeting V.I. Matvienko was voiced by Senator of the Russian Federation K.I. Kosachev. Foreign Minister S.V. delivered welcoming remarks. Lavrov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation E.A. Yampolskaya. As part of the grand opening, the heads of the foundation's Russian centers operating around the world and the winners of the International Russian Language Olympiad named after. V.G. Kostomarova.
The panel discussion on the topic «Spiritual and moral space of the Russian world: traditions, challenges, prospects» continues the work of the Assembly. Representatives from different countries speak here. Panel discussion presenters – E.A. Yampolskaya, M.E. Shvydkoy.
Next, the Assembly participants were offered three round tables: 1) «Russian language in the world: tools for promotion and support»; 2) «To the 80th anniversary of the Victory: the role of culture in upholding historical truth»; 3 «The Russian world as a stronghold of countering destructive neoliberal ideology».
The first day of the event ends with a ceremonial reception for the Assembly participants. On the second day, meetings of the Assembly participants with representatives of the foundation «Russian World» are planned, where the work of the foundation will be told and a cultural program will be offered to the event participants.
