Experts and students of KRSU discussed issues of public-private partnership in Kyrgyzstan
On April 27, a student scientific and practical conference «Public-Private Partnership in an Unstable Economy» was held at the resource center of the main building, organized by the Department of National Economy and Regional Development KRSU with the support of the Center for Public-Private Partnership under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The main goal of the event is to develop among students a practical understanding of public-private partnerships and the main directions of its development in Kyrgyzstan, taking into account world experience.
Representatives of KRSU – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Salavat Usmanov, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Natalya Brovko and Head of the Department of National Economy and Regional Development, Professor Asylbek Ayupov (conference moderator) addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
The conference was attended by employees of the PPP Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic (director Sanzharbek Bolotov and senior expert in project promotion and monitoring) Erdenet Kasymov), experts in economics, teachers and 1st-4th year students of the Faculty of Economics of KRSU. Experienced specialists shared their opinions with young people about finding ways to solve the main problems in the area announced at the conference.
The key point of the event was the speeches of specialists in the field of public-private partnerships, as well as student reports revealing the scientific, theoretical and practical aspects of cooperation between the state and the private sector.
