Experts discussed the role of public procurement in the development of the national economy
On November 25, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «The Role of Public Procurement in the Development of the National Economy» was held at the resource center of the main building of KRSU.
The event was organized by the Department of National Economy and Regional Development KRSU and the Department of Public Procurement of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The purpose of the conference is – comprehensive discussion, scientific, theoretical and practical analysis of the current public procurement system in the Kyrgyz Republic, exchange of advanced domestic and foreign experience in the field of public procurement, introduction of students and undergraduates to current problems of public procurement.
The vice-rector for academic affairs, Professor Salavat Usmanov, and the head of the department took part in the conference national Economy and Regional Development, Professor Asylbek Ayupov, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Natalya Brovko, employees of KRSU, leading economists, specialists dealing with problems in the field of public procurement – representatives of the Department of Public Procurement of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, the mayor's office of Bishkek, Aoffice of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic c Chuyskaya areas, scientists of the Russian Federation, Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialists from the Department of Public Procurement of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic made presentations on the ongoing state policy in the field of public procurement in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as on the current system of public procurement in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Scientists from the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic spoke about scientific research into the public procurement process in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the corruption component in the field of public procurement.
The scientific report of the head of the department of regional economics and management of the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management V. Melnikov was devoted to the institutional environment as a factor in the budgetary efficiency of public procurement.
