EURASIAN SOCIETIES FOCUS ON YOUNG SOCIOLOGISTS
On June 21-23, 2023, the Second International Summer School "Eurasian Societies in Focus of Young Sociologists" was held at the Institute of Demographic Research (IDI) of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The event attracted more than 50 participants, including bachelors, undergraduates, graduate students and doctoral students from different countries such as Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Cuba. The school was aimed at young sociologists and invited participants to discuss research and topics related to Eurasian societies.
It is interesting to note that among the invited participants were graduate students of the Department of Management of KRSU named after B.N. Yeltsin. This indicates that their research and academic activities are recognized as important and valuable for this event.
On the first day of the school, participants were addressed with a welcoming speech:
- M.F. Chernysh, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Director of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
- Khramova Marina Nikolaevna, Acting Director of the IDI Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Department of Demographic Security and Modeling of Demographic Processes, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
- Mamaeva Natalya Vladimirovna, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Science of Rossotrudnichestvo.
- Osipov Gennady Vasilievich, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor.
- Belyaninov Andrey Yurievich, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
- Bordyuzha Nikolai Nikolaevich, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Eurasian Information and Analytical Consortium.
- Kocherbaeva Ainura Anatolyevna, director of the international analytical club «Issyk-Kul – Greater Eurasia» (MAK «IKBE»), professor of the department of management of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin.
Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor G.I. Osadchaya gave an opening lecture on the topic "The sociological dimension of Eurasian integration: achievements, problems and solutions.".
The second day of the school included presentations and reports from participants in the youth conference "Eurasian Societies in Focus of Young Sociologists", with special mention of the reports of Asem Galymovna Kusmanova, Anna Sergeevna Kuzmina and Edil Nurymbetova.
Leading scientists from different countries, including Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, held lectures and master classes, emphasizing the importance of intercultural dialogue and cooperation.
Khramova Marina Nikolaevna presented a lecture "Migration, demographic development and demographic security in the Eurasian space.".
The third day was devoted to summing up the results of the essay competition "Migration in the History of My Family,"
The organizers of the school, including the head of the Department for Research of Socio-Demographic Processes in the EAEU IDI FNISC RAS, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Galina Ivanovna Osadchaya, leading researcher, candidate of sociological sciences Egor Yuryevich Kireev and junior researcher Maria Vasilievna Roslavtseva, noted the best performances and the most active participants schools with appropriate certificates. This confirms their recognition of the significance and quality of the participants' work.
Congratulations to the graduate students of the Department of Management KRSU named after. B.N. Yeltsin, Nakenova Aizhan Almazovna and Sydygalieva Begimai Abdyrayymovna, with certificates for the best performance at the Second International Summer School of the IDI Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences! This is an excellent recognition of their active work and the high level of research presented at the event.
