A guest lecture on safety and health in construction was held at KRSU

A guest lecture on the topic «Occupational safety and health in construction» was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The event was organized within the framework of the Program «guest lecturer», which is part of the Roadmap for joint events of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) and KRSU in natural and technical areas for 2024–2025.

The lecture was given by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Nina Rumyantseva. The participants of the event were teachers, employees of the educational process, 1st and 2nd year master's students, as well as 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students in the field «Technosphere Safety».

The face-to-face classes were held in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction Technologies (FADIS). During the lecture, key aspects of ensuring safety at construction sites, modern labor protection requirements and innovative methods for minimizing risks in the workplace were discussed.

Such events strengthen academic cooperation between KRSU and SPbPU, help improve the level of professional training of students and develop international educational ties.
