Acting by the Rector of KRSU on long-term development plans and the results of the first month of work
As part of the interview with acting by the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov, key achievements and plans for the future that determine the university’s development strategy were highlighted.
Sergey Volkov noted that KRSU has significant potential for further strengthening its position as the leading educational center in Central Asia. During the first month of his work as acting rector, significant results were achieved.
Achievements in the first month
Approval of the Charter and Regulations on the Governing Council. The new Charter of the university became the basis for the modernization of internal processes. The Governing Council, which will include 6 representatives from Kyrgyzstan and 6 from Russia, will become an important body for the strategic management of the university.
Development of a rating system for teachers. The new approach will improve the quality of teaching and stimulate the professional growth of teaching staff.
Strategic plans
As part of further development, Sergey Volkov identified several key study programs:
Strengthening international cooperation and attracting foreign students.
Development of the scientific base and innovative projects. Improving facilities for students, including grant support and infrastructure upgrades. "We are proud to have been able to lay a solid foundation for future change in such a short time. All this became possible thanks to the well-coordinated work of the university team, the support of colleagues from Kyrgyzstan and Russia," emphasized Sergei Volkov.
The results of the first month give reason to be confident that KRSU will continue its development, strengthening its position as one of the most prestigious universities in the region.
