Acting by the Rector of KRSU visited a research site in the picturesque Kegeti gorge

Acting Rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov visited the university's research site, located in the picturesque Kegeti gorge, not far from the high-mountain lake Kol-Tor. During the visit, he became familiar with the condition of the site, which has significant potential for educational and tourism initiatives.

Based on the results of the inspection, Sergei Volkov instructed to study the issue of restoring the landfill infrastructure. The plans include — creating conditions for organizing summer trips for students, including hiking. The range will be able to accommodate groups of 30–50 people, which will make it an important center for field training and outdoor recreation.

The research site is located just 10 kilometers from Lake Kol-Tor, one of the most picturesque high-mountain lakes in Kyrgyzstan, and is located on a popular tourist route. This offers unique opportunities for the development of eco-tourism and curricula that integrate science and nature.
