Acting Rector of KRSU Sergey Volkov took part in the Forum of Rectors of Central Asian Universities

Acting of the Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov took part in the Forum of Rectors of Central Asian Universities dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region. The event took place at the State Residence of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The theme of the forum is «Transformation of Central Asian universities in the context of global challenges».

The forum brought together representatives of higher educational institutions from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. During plenary sessions and panel sessions, current issues of integration of science, education and business, digitalization of educational processes and modernization of universities in the region were discussed.

As a result of the event, a number of memorandums and agreements on cooperation between universities were signed, aimed at developing integration and implementing joint scientific and educational projects.
