And again the first!

May 21 within the walls of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. Akhunbaev hosted the International Student Olympiad in Normal and Topographic Anatomy, which was held in two languages – Russian and English simultaneously.

The 13 teams that participated were

1. «The Caerleone family» (KSMA).
2. «Team Clovers», (KSMA, english.language.).
3. «Na'Vi» (KRSU).
4. «White Tigers» (KRSU, english.language.).
5. «Squid Gamers» (Andijan State Medical Institute).
6. «SC TashPMI» (Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute).
7. «DEITERS» (West Kazakhstan Medical University named after M. Ospanov).
8. «Core» (JAGU).
9. «Bone Cracker» (ZHAGU, english. language.)
10. «Canny Cougars» (MVSM MUK, english. language.)
11. «Anatomikal Avengers» (MUK, english. language.)
12. «Alpha» (MSHM MUK).
13. «HEALERS» (ALA-TOO University, English)

Our team «Na'Vi» included: Islam Tazhimatov, Firuza Israilova, Bogdan Ryazantsev, Anastasia Tankova, Khadizha Kuramaeva and Kamila Boobekova.

Team members «White Tigers» became foreign students: Gutti Sai Rupesh Kumar, Chintalapalli Lakshminarasimha Naga Raghavendra, Pedada Akhil, Bammidi Pranai Bhaskar, Kogatham Judsonpaul, Pandiri Emimah.

The Olympics consisted of 2 stages:

1 – theoretical;

2 – practical (find anatomical structures on the platelets of the upper and lower extremities).

At the end of the competition, the team «Corleone Family» (KSMA) received the Grand Prix.

Students of both teams of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University under the leadership of associate professor A. Beisembayev, senior teachers A. Imanalieva and V. Lobzeva took 1st place. In addition, the team «Na'Vi» earned a diploma for the best business card.

First place also went to representatives of Andijan, second – Tashkent and West Kazakhstan, third to teams «Team Clovers» KSMA, «Core» and «Bone Cracker» JAGU.
