Results of the competition of dramatizations for the works of A.P. Chekhov
Institute of Russian Language named after. A. Orusbaev Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. B. N. Yeltsin (IRYA KRSU) in partnership with the Russian Language Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia im. P. Lumumba (IRYA RUDN University) from April 25 to June 2, 2025, held a republican competition of dramatizations for the works of A.P. Chekhov, dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the writer’s birth (1860-1904).
The purpose of the competition is – to promote the development and popularization of the Russian language in the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic as a language of interethnic and intercultural communication, as well as to increase the level of literacy and support the creative initiative of schoolchildren and students.
People were invited to participate
- students in grades 8–10 of secondary schools in the Kyrgyz Republic;
- students of humanities faculties of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the CIS countries.
The submitted videos were evaluated according to the following criteria:
– selection of the work;
– performance artistry;
– use of expressive means of speech (intonation, logical stress, tempo, timbre, emotional coloring);
– diction clarity;
– interaction between participants (game moments, working in a mini-group).
Students of grades 8-10 from secondary schools with Russian, Kyrgyz and Uzbek languages of instruction in Batken, Issyk-Kul, Chui regions and Bishkek took part in the competition.
The winners were participants who demonstrated high artistry, preparation and the ability to work in mini-groups. Each team showed talent and creativity, as well as the ability to work in a team.
The competition program gave students the opportunity not only to reveal their creative potential, but also emphasized the importance of the Russian language and literature in our lives.
The winner I degree she became a participant in the competition Adybaeva Burmakan Akzholovna, 10th grade student at a secondary boarding school №1 Batken region («Cherry Orchard». Monologue).
Taalaikan Mustafaevna Burkhanova, a teacher of Russian language and literature, who prepared the student for a performance.
The winners II degree dramatizations based on the work of A.P. Chekhov «Horse surname» – 8th grade students of the secondary school KRSU in Bishkek have been determined.

The award ceremony will take place on June 5, 2025 (start – at 11.30) as part of the round table <TAG1> Anniversaries of our days. The life and work of great writers – A. S. Pushkin, A. P. Chekhov, S. A. Yesenin, Ch. T. Aitmatov» at the address: Kyiv st., 44, main building KRSU, 212 auditorium.
Diplomas to the winners and certificates to all competition participants will be sent to personal email addresses from 10 to 20 June 2025.
