Results of the competition «Letter to the winning soldier: “And we will remember your feat sacredly”»
May 31st Institute of Russian Language KRSU named after. A.O. Orusbaev Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. First President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin took place to sum up the results video essay competition «Letter to the winning soldier: “And we will remember your feat sacredly”», dedicated to the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Its goals were the desire to honor the memory of the participants in the Great Patriotic War, strengthen the connection between generations and add a personal dimension to the study of history – to strengthen awareness of the involvement of the younger generation in the most important historical event.
The conditions for participation in the competition were not only the ability to create a colorful video through technical means, but also to competently, brightly and emotionally reveal the given topic clearly and succinctly express your own thoughts in an address to the victorious soldier in the Great Patriotic War.
46 students of 8th, 9th, 10th grades of secondary schools in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Tash-Kumyr, Kara-Balty, Nookat, Talas, Balykchi, Batken, and the villages of Ken-Bulun took part in the creative match Military Antonovki, Baigonchok, Barskoon, Novonikolaevka, Ivanovka. According to the organizers and jury members, each of the presented works became a small but invaluable creative project, which concentrated personal experience, sincere experiences, gratitude and genuine interest of Kyrgyz schoolchildren in the events of the Great Patriotic War. All works were noted the unshakable strength of the human spirit, perseverance, courage, interethnic cohesion of the generation – The winner of the Great Patriotic War, who accomplished a selfless feat in the name of peace on earth and the personal freedom of each individual person.
Separately, it is worth noting the creative approach of the participants to completing the task: all competition works were distinguished by original directing, reproduction of the historical surroundings, the use of military newsreels, archival documents of information systems «Feat of the People» and «Memory of the People».
Based on the results of the competition, the jury determined the winners and nominees:

III place: Zhumagulov Beknaz, pupil 8 cl. SSh im. K. Chylabaeva (s. Barskoon, Issyk-Kul Oblast).
