Results of the academic year: a final decan meeting was held at KRSU
In Kyrgyz‑The Russian Slavic University (KRSU) held a final dean's meeting, summing up the results of the academic year and determining priorities for the future. The event was chaired by acting rector Sergei Volkov.
The main topics were preparation for meetings of the boards of trustees and constituent bodies, increasing academic performance and developing educational programs. Volkov emphasized that the board of trustees includes a significant number of companies, which strengthens the university’s ties with business‑community and opens up new perspectives for students.
Particular attention at the meeting was paid to monitoring academic debts. The rector's Acting called on deans to strengthen supervision over academic performance and timely passing of exams, as well as ensure the admission of students to the interdisciplinary final state certification (MIGA).
The agenda also included issues of additional professional education (VET) and expansion of the university's study programs. The development of new programs capable of meeting modern labor market requirements was discussed, as well as plans to modernize infrastructure to improve the comfort of students and teachers.
The director of the secondary school KRSU, Olga Alaeva, said that on June 30 the ceremonial issuance of certificates to graduates will take place, the enrollment of first-graders has already been completed, and from August 15, admission of students to other classes for available places will begin.
An important point was the admissions campaign — high competition for popular specialties is expected this year.
Vice-Rector for Youth and Information Policy Stanislav Kulikov presented plans for summer events: student communities will hold thematic sessions in the educational field‑health complex «Zhashtyk» in eight areas, combining relaxation with the professional and creative development of the participants.
The results of the dean's meeting showed: KRSU continues its course towards dynamic growth — strengthening the educational foundation, developing infrastructure and stimulating active student life. Ahead — implementation of new projects and strengthening the position of the university as one of the leading universities in the region.
