Personnel are the main factor of digital sovereignty

On the sidelines of the VIII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum and the XII Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference, a panel session «Digital Sovereignty» was held, dedicated to the development of national digital platforms, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and the training of specialists for the digital economy.Director of the Department for Digital Infrastructure Development KRSU Alexander Yudin took part in the discussion.The session participants agreed that digital sovereignty is determined not only by technology, but also by the quality of training of specialists.«Digital sovereignty is not only about technology, but above all about people. It is qualified personnel who are becoming a key factor in the sustainable development of the digital economy», noted Vitaly Pak, IT Director of ACSOFT Kyrgyzstan.Experts emphasized that the further development of the digital economy requires the combined efforts of the state, business and universities. Priorities include developing our own digital solutions, strengthening cybersecurity, training qualified personnel and implementing joint Kyrgyz-Russian IT projects.
