The Department of Pediatrics KRSU was named after Professor Syrga Bokonbaeva

This decision was made at the Academic Council of the university.

Professor Syrga Djoomartovna Bokonbaeva has been heading the Department of Pediatrics since the opening of the specialty «Pediatrics» at the Faculty of Medicine KRSU. The famous scientist has 57 years of teaching experience. Syrga Dzhoomartovna – winner of a number of high state awards and certificates – «Excellent in Healthcare» (1995), «Excellent in Education» (2000), «Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic» (2001), «Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic» (1991 and 2005), «Certificate of Honor from the Kyrgyz Republic» (1996), «Certificate of Honor from the Jogorku Kenesh» (2019).

S.J. Bokonbaeva played a significant role in the training of medical personnel in Kyrgyzstan, in the development of higher medical education, pediatric science, practical healthcare and a new direction for the Kyrgyz Republic «Ecopathology in children».

Endless devotion to pediatrics, rich pedagogical experience, talent as a scientist, hard work, integrity, love for patients – here is just a small list of the advantages of the innovative scientist, Professor Syrga Bokonbaeva.

Also, by decision of the Academic Council, the candidacy of Doctor of Medical Sciences Syrga Bokonbaeva was nominated for the Order «Dunk».
