How to become a graduate student at KRSU? What to look for before admission
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University continues to accept documents for graduate school. KRSU — one of the leading universities in Kyrgyzstan for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, offering a wide range of scientific specialties.
Postgraduate studies — are the third stage of higher education that trains researchers, scientists and future teachers. To successfully enroll, it is important to study the admission rules and the list of study programs preparation in advance.
What to look for:
STEP 1. Decide on your scientific specialty and research topic.
Choose a direction that suits your interests and scientific plans. The list of specialties can be found in the «Postgraduate» section on the KRSU website.
STEP 2. Find a supervisor.
Select a mentor who works in the area you are interested in. To do this, you can contact the faculties and departments of KRSU, where scientific schools and areas of research are represented.
STEP 3. Contact a potential supervisor.
Tell us about your interests, goals and intended research topic. This will help determine how your plans coincide with the scientific agenda of the department and the university.
STEP 4. Check the conditions for admission to graduate school KRSU.
On the website abit.krsu.kg/aspirant information is provided on the deadlines for submitting documents, the list of entrance tests, programs, consultations and the procedure for conducting them.
STEP 5. Take the entrance exams.
After successfully passing the tests, you will become part of the scientific community KRSU.
Key dates:
• Electronic registration — until September 12, 2025.
• Acceptance of paper documents — September 15–16 (d. Bishkek, Kyiv st., 44, office. 115)
• Entrance exams — from September 17 (according to the approved schedule)

• Foreign language
• Kyrgyz language
Important:
▪️ Examinations are held in person, in writing and orally.
▪️ Minimum for passing — 3 points in each subject and 20 points in total.
