How to improve the legislation of Kyrgyzstan?
On April 23, 2021, the annual interuniversity student scientific and practical conference «Topical issues of improving the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic» was held online at the Faculty of Law of KRSU.
Within the framework of the event, 7 sections actively worked: «Theories and histories of state and law», «Civil law and process», «International and constitutional law», «Administrative and financial law», «Criminal law and criminology», «Criminal process and criminology», «Forensic examination».
The conference was attended by more than 60 students and undergraduates of KRSU, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the International University in Central Asia, and the International University «Ala-Too».
Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for Scientific Work, Associate Professor Gulzada Dzhalgasynova addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Then the chief specialist of the digital and financial technologies department of the payment systems department of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sanzhar Abdygaziev, made a report «Legal regulation of virtual assets/cryptocurrencies in the Kyrgyz Republic».
KRSU students and undergraduates presented 55 scientific reports at the conference. Most of them were highly appreciated. The speakers demonstrated an excellent level of training and touched upon current issues and modern aspects of law. Some of them are: «Cyber operations during armed conflicts», «Human rights and COVID-19», «Use of information technology in the activities of the prosecutor's office of the Kyrgyz Republic».
