The «Imperium» KRSU team goes to the prestigious International Surgery Olympiad

From April 14 to April 20, 2025, Sechenov University will host the final of the XXXIII Moscow International Student Olympiad in Surgery named after Academician M.I. Perelman. This is one of the most significant events of the year in the student surgical community, where the strongest teams from medical universities are included.

Before their departure, the team of the Department of Hospital Surgery KRSU «Imperium» met with acting of the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov. The head of the university noted the high level of preparation of the students and wished them success in the upcoming competition.

«Imperium» — an experienced team that has proven its strength more than once at international Olympiads. KRSU students have even defeated leading Russian medical universities, demonstrating deep knowledge and practical skills in surgery. This year the team is confident in a decent performance and intends to bring another prize.

The team consists of – 4th– 6th year students, united by the desire for improvement in surgery. Getting to the finals of such a prestigious Olympiad is already an outstanding achievement, and KRSU is proud of its representatives.
