The KRSU «Patho Defenders» team won the interuniversity student Olympiad in pathological physiology

On May 10, the interuniversity student Olympiad in pathological physiology was held in the large assembly hall of the main building of KRSU, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the university and World Health Day. It was organized by the Department of Pathophysiology KRSU under the leadership of Professor B. Kakeev and 3rd year students of the Faculty of Medicine.

Of the announced 15 university teams, 13 showed up for the Olympics, namely:

KRSU « commandsPatho Patrols», «Patho Defenders» (supervisor – Associate Professor E. Abdukarimova).

Teams ISM (FLOUR) «Stetho Stars», «Alba Sapiens», «Patho Prodigies» under the guidance of Assistant of the Department of Pathology of the MUK I. Amanbekov and the head of the Department of Pathology of the Moscow Clinical Hospital, Professor G. Belov.

University team «Adam» «The Eelementary Explorers» under the guidance of assistant of the Department of Pathology B. Muratbekova.

OshSU teams «Opsonisers», «Hippocratic Hexbreakers» under the guidance of Dr Divya Chaurasia and Lecturer in the Department of Pathophysiology A. Zhoroeva.

The Team «Salymbekov University» «Caffeine Crashers» under the guidance of a pathology teacher A. Sarieva.

BIMI teams <TAG1>Bimi Masters», «Pathologics» under the guidance of assistant of the Department of Pathology A. Yrysbaev.

Azmi « teamsHealing hands», «Pacemakers» under the guidance of teacher of the Department of Pathology K. Osmonov and head. Department of Morphological Disciplines A. Tulieva.

The Olympiad was held in 2 stages, the 1st included «Business Card» of the team, as well as «Homework» on the following typical pathological processes:

• pathology of the cardiovascular system;
• pathology of the respiratory system;
• pathology of the digestive system;
• pathology of the urinary system;
• pathology of the blood system;
• pathology of the endocrine system.

The second phase covered theoretical rounds, namely: crossword, situational challenges and quiz.

At the end of all rounds, the points were calculated and the results were summed up.

The KRSU «Patho Defenders» team and the OshSU « team received diplomas and cups of the 1st degreeHippocratic Hexbreakers».

Diplomas and cups of the II degree were awarded to the KRSU team «Patho Patrols» and the MUK team «Alba Sapiens».

And the university team «Adam» «The Elemental Explorers», k. earned diplomas and cups of the third degreeomande «Salymbekov University» «Caffeine Crashers» and the AzMI team «Pacemakers».

Diplomas by nomination we got it:

«Most Talented» – MUK «Patho Prodigies»;

«The most erudite» – MUK «Stetho Stars», BIMI «Pathologics»;

«The most active» – AzMI «Healing hands»;

«Best Performance» – BIMI «Bimi Masters».

Also, all participants received personalized certificates. Members of Jyuri, letters of gratitude were presented to the scientific supervisors and the organizing committee.
