The KRSU dental team took third place at the international Olympiad

Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took third place at the international Olympiad «Battle of Dentists — 2026». The competition was held on the basis of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaeva.Teams of 3–4 year students from dental faculties of medical universities took part in the Olympiad. Participants demonstrated knowledge and practical skills in key areas of dentistry, including surgical, therapeutic, orthopedic and pediatric dentistry.Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented by two teams — «Ice Cream» (4th year) and «Eighth tooth» (3rd year). The Olympiad program included several stages: presentation of teams, testing, solving clinical situational problems, performing practical skills, and preparing a creative scientific report.Based on the results of all competitive tests, the KRSU «Eighth Tooth» team took third place among 11 teams and was awarded in a special category «Best Clinical Solution».In addition, team student «Ice Cream» Aman Alymkulov received a separate award in the category «Accuracy and Professionalism» for the presented scientific report.Students were prepared for the Olympiad with the participation of teachers from specialized departments of the Faculty of Dentistry KRSU. Participants in the competition were awarded diplomas, memorable prizes and certificates, and the winning team also received a cash reward.The participation and prize-winning place of KRSU students in the international Olympiad confirms the high level of training of future specialists and the development of practice-oriented medical education at the university.
