The team of the Faculty of Law KRSU became the winner of the national qualifying rounds in the XXVI International Competition named after. F. Martens on international humanitarian law

We are proud to announce that the team of the Faculty of Law of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, consisting of Kubanychbekov Ularbek, Syrtbaev Bayel and Saparov Belek, prepared by the Department of International and Constitutional Law, became the winner of the national qualifying rounds of the XXVI International Competition named after. F. Martens on international humanitarian law.

From 21 to 25 April 2025, the team will represent Kyrgyzstan in Moscow in this prestigious competition, which includes entries from various regions of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. In determining the best teams in the qualifying round, the jury took into account knowledge of international humanitarian law, public international law and the ability to argue their positions.

For the third year in a row, the KRSU team has won national qualifying rounds in a competition named after Fyodor Fedorovich Martens — Russian lawyer, diplomat and founder of the Russian school of international law, who formulated one of the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law.
