KRSU prepares for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory

At the next meeting of the Academic Council of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin approved a plan of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.

The plan includes participation in federal and international patriotic projects, such as the All-Russian Festival of Student Creativity «Russian Student Spring – Victory Spring» and historical and educational event «Victory Dictation». In addition, ceremonial events, scientific conferences, cultural and educational projects, memorial events and the work of student organizations are planned.

Particular attention will be paid to preserving historical memory. As part of the events, students and university staff will take part in the improvement of military graves, organizing exhibitions and film screenings, as well as conducting scientific research on Kyrgyzstan’s contribution to the Victory.

Key events of 2025 include a ceremonial meeting and festive concert, participation in the action — Immortal Regiment«, as well as an international scientific and practical conference » Great Patriotic War and historical memory«.

KRSU invites all students and staff to take an active part in the preparation and implementation of activities that will be a striking contribution of the university to the preservation of historical truth and strengthening the unity of peoples.
