KRSU and the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan agreed to launch joint scientific projects
On the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum «Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum», a meeting was held between the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov and the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov. The parties discussed the development of scientific and technological cooperation and presented joint projects in the field of ecology, materials science, digital technologies and engineering development. One of the key study programs interactions will be the creation of a digital environmental monitoring system with the construction of pollution maps and the use of artificial intelligence and neural network analysis technologies. The project involves the introduction of automated emission control and the formation of ESG models for environmental risk assessment. The second project is focused on comprehensive monitoring of the quality of water bodies under anthropogenic load conditions. It is planned to create a digital database of the state of water resources, conduct environmental analytics and develop recommendations to reduce the negative impact on the environment. The third area is related to the development of intelligent transport systems and digital solutions to optimize logistics flows. We are talking about mathematical modeling of the transport load, the introduction of video analytics systems and the use of artificial intelligence technologies to predict the transport situation. In addition, the parties discussed conducting independent chemical analyzes of materials and coatings, corrosion resistance tests, as well as joint research in the field of nanomaterials and functional coatings. KRSU is already conducting developments in the field of radio-absorbing and light-absorbing coatings, confirmed by Russian patents.KRSU has scientific teams and laboratories in the fields of environmental monitoring, artificial intelligence, robotics, energy systems and mathematical modeling. The Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, in turn, expressed its readiness to assist in attracting industrial partners, grant funding and organizing joint research with the participation of leading scientists of the republic. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to prepare a roadmap for joint R&D, expand academic interaction and participate in scientific and technical programs.
