KRSU and the Almazov Center signed a memorandum of cooperation

A memorandum of understanding was signed at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University with the National Medical Research Center named after V.A. Almazov Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The agreement is aimed at developing joint work in the field of medical education, science and training of specialists.The ceremony took place as part of a working meeting between the university management and the General Director of the Almazov Center, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgeniy Shlyakhto. During the negotiations, the parties discussed promising areas of interaction, including the implementation of joint educational programs, the development of academic mobility of students and teachers, as well as research cooperation.The agreement involves the exchange of students, teachers and medical specialists, the launch of short-term educational programs, the holding of joint conferences, seminars and symposiums, as well as the development of scientific research. In addition, it is planned to exchange educational and scientific materials and introduce modern educational practices.Opening the meeting, Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov emphasized the high potential of the Faculty of Medicine and the importance of developing the personnel reserve:«The most important thing — is the people, the professional teaching staff. Our task — is to attract and develop young specialists so that they become students of strong scientific schools and shape the future of medicine».He also noted the steady demand for medical education and the importance of practice-oriented training of doctors, which is formed at the intersection of science and clinical practice.In turn, Evgeniy Shlyakhto noted the similarity of the approaches of the two organizations to the development of medical education and science:«We started as a small scientific institution, and today we have grown into a large center with a developed educational and clinical infrastructure. The main thing —is the quality of training and the integration of science, education and practice».According to him, modern medicine requires an interdisciplinary approach and close interaction with other scientific areas, including technology and engineering solutions.The signed memorandum provides for the development of joint projects in the field of medical education, science and additional professional education, as well as the creation of conditions for the exchange of experience and the introduction of modern educational technologies.Cooperation between KRSU and the Almazov Center is considered an important step in strengthening international relations and developing a system for training medical personnel.
