KRSU and the delegation of the Sverdlovsk region discussed cooperation with UrFU

A meeting of the university management with representatives of the Sverdlovsk region was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Acting Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov greeted the guests and emphasized that the development of cooperation with Russian partners opens up new prospects.

The main topic of discussion was the roadmap for interaction with the Ural Federal University. UrFU Vice-Rector for International Relations Sergei Tushin noted that it is important to make the document as specific as possible so that it really contributes to the development of joint projects. It was about joint research, advanced training programs for teachers and the exchange of experience in creating university infrastructure. «We know well the challenges that arise when building a modern campus, and we are ready to share our experience», — he said.

We also discussed the development strategy of UrFU, which pays special attention to the training of engineers and highly qualified specialists. In this context, KRSU is interested in UrFU becoming a key partner in the creation of a Specialized Educational and Scientific Center (SSC) at the international level on the basis of the KRSU school.

In addition, representatives of UrFU invited students and teachers of KRSU to a summer school in law, linguistics, engineering and artificial intelligence.
