KRSU and FEFU discussed the development of cooperation on the sidelines of the EEF

On the sidelines of the XI Eastern Economic Forum, the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and the vice-rector for international relations of the Far Eastern Federal University Evgeniy Vlasov met.The parties agreed to update the cooperation agreement and determine specific areas of joint work. The focus is on medicine and oriental studies, engineering education, information technology, academic mobility and joint scientific projects.Separately, we discussed the possibilities of interaction in the study of the Asia-Pacific region. KRSU was invited to join the work of the FEFU Center for Asian Studies and develop joint analytical activities.«We see FEFU as a strong partner with unique experience in working with the Asia-Pacific region and are ready to build systematic cooperation —from academic mobility to joint scientific projects», noted Elena Averkova.Another promising area is the development of joint educational programs and advanced training programs. The universities also discussed cooperation in medical education and the possibility of using FEFU experience in implementing the project for the new KRSU campus.As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to prepare a memorandum and a roadmap for cooperation, and FEFU experts received an invitation to take part in educational and scientific events KRSU.
