KRSU and Liminsk Vocational University (PRC) announced plans for long-term cooperation
An international conference was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) «Chinese Bridge 2024: in the field of education and science». The conference focused on aspects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China and opened up new opportunities for interaction in the field of education and science.
The conference discussed the prospects for the development of Chinese linguistics, current issues of studying the Chinese language, traditions and innovations in the field of translation. Participants presented their scientific achievements, and part of the event took place online, which made it possible to attract an international audience.
Rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov noted: «Progress depends on the speed of knowledge development. Kyrgyzstan is a meeting point for civilizations. The flight from Beijing to Moscow is long, as is the other way around. That is why it is easier for us to develop partnerships at our university. For the Chinese comrades KRSU, this is a window into Russian education and science. Our Russian partners are also interested in entering the Chinese market through us. Our university has a successful and effective sinology center. I am sure that our event – is not a formal event. It will enable us to outline plans for cooperation over the coming decade».
The conference «China Bridge 2024» emphasized the importance of joint efforts in developing educational and scientific ties between Kyrgyzstan and China. Participants expressed the hope of strengthening and expanding cooperation in the future, which would contribute to progress in various areas of knowledge.
