KRSU and the Russian Society «Knowledge» have launched a joint summer educational campaign in Kyrgyzstan

The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Russian Society «Knowledge» have begun implementing a joint summer educational campaign on the basis of the educational and health complex «Zhashtyk» on the coast of Lake Issyk-Kul.The project is aimed at developing volunteerism, civic engagement, leadership qualities and educational initiatives among the youth of Kyrgyzstan and Russia. During the summer season, a series of educational schools, thematic sessions, lectures, master classes and meetings with leading experts, public figures and representatives of the professional community are planned at the site «Zhashtyk».The first joint project was the I Kyrgyz-Russian School for the Development of Volunteerism «Rays of Good», which united active students and young volunteers. The shift program includes educational intensives, trainings, sporting events and educational meetings aimed at developing the volunteer movement and developing an active civic position.Representatives of the Russian Society «Knowledge» and invited experts have already acted as lecturers. The head of the HR service of the media holding, developer of advanced training programs and member of the organization «OPORA RUSSIA» Elena Osipova gave a lecture «Good in Action: How to Be Part of Change» dedicated to the role of volunteering in modern society and opportunities for self-realization through social activities.Candidate of Historical Sciences, author and scientific director of educational projects Nikita Korolev presented lectures to the participants «How to be a hero?» and «State symbols of Russia: their meaning and history». The young people discussed issues of personal responsibility, historical memory, civic service and preservation of cultural and historical heritage.«The development of cooperation with the Russian Society "Knowledge" opens up new opportunities for the youth of Kyrgyzstan. We create a space where students can gain relevant knowledge, communicate with leading experts, implement their own initiatives and participate in large-scale humanitarian projects. The summer campaign in Zhashtyk will be an important stage in this work», — noted the rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov.Russian Society «Knowledge» is the largest educational organization in Russia, implementing projects in the field of science, education, culture, patriotic education and youth policy. The organization brings together thousands of lecturers throughout the country and actively develops international humanitarian cooperation.The joint summer campaign of KRSU and the Russian Society «Knowledge» will be part of a long-term interaction program aimed at strengthening educational and humanitarian ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, supporting youth initiatives and creating a single educational space.
