KRSU and RUDN University will hold the II International Forum on Bilingual Education
Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov held a working meeting with the organizing committee of the II International Forum of Teachers of the Russian Language and Subjects in Russian «Bilingual Education Today: Global Challenges and Effective Practices». The forum will be held on September 28–29 at KRSU together with the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN).Participants discussed the composition of invited guests, the content of the business program and organizational issues of the upcoming forum. The program will combine a plenary session, 10 thematic sections and round tables dedicated to modern approaches to teaching the Russian language and general education subjects in Russian, as well as the exchange of practical experience in bilingual education.Special attention is paid to the participation of young researchers. An international conference «Science for the Young» will be held for them as part of the forum.In addition, on the eve of the forum, advanced training courses have already started for Russian language teachers and teachers teaching classes in other disciplines in Russian. The program is aimed at mastering modern methods of bilingual education and their application in the educational process.The event will become a platform for professional exchange between teachers and researchers working in the field of Russian language and bilingual education.
