KRSU and St. Petersburg Polytechnic signed the first training contracts within the framework of a joint project
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, represented by Vice-Rector for International, Scientific and Innovation Activities Viktor Denisenko, and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University signed the first cooperation agreements within the framework of the implementation of a joint project for the modernization and development of engineering education. Training agreements were signed during the visit of the KRSU delegation to the Russian Federation.
The first 30 students from KRSU have already begun their studies at SPbPU, which became an important stage in a large-scale initiative aimed at improving the educational process and developing professional competencies in the engineering field. Long-term internships are carried out in nine educational programs at five Polytechnic institutes, which allows students to gain unique experience and master advanced technologies.
The project involves 15 students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology (ETF) and 15 students from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction (FADIS). According to KRSU Vice-Rector Viktor Denisenko, this cooperation opens up new horizons for students and contributes to the formation of human resources necessary for the successful development of the engineering industry in Kyrgyzstan.
"We are proud that our students had the opportunity to study at one of the leading technical universities in Russia. An internship at SPbPU will not only strengthen their professional skills, but will also allow them to introduce best practices into the educational process of KRSU, which meets our strategic goals for modernizing engineering education," Denisenko noted.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and is designed to help strengthen ties between universities of the two countries, as well as improve the quality of training of specialists in the field of engineering and technology.
